Dr. Chris Manley has been in practice at Manley & Obbink Chiropractic and Acupuncture since starting practice in 1990. He is a native of South Sioux City, Nebraska. He graduated from South Sioux City High School and attended Wayne State College where he was a chemistry major.

He attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis Minnesota where he received his bachelor of science in human biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degree, graduating from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 1990 with high honors. Dr. Manley is licensed in the states of Iowa and Nebraska. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and Iowa Chiropractic Society. Dr. Manley is currently on the board of directors for the Iowa Chiropractic Society and was past president, vice president and treasurer for the Northwest District of the Iowa Chiropractic Society. Dr. Manley is an associate clinical faculty member with Northwestern Health Sciences University and is involved in the training of multiple chiropractic interns.

Dr. Manley has completed numerous continuing education courses with his main interests lying in the treatment of automobile accidents, sports injuries, headaches and lower back pain. He completed a 60 hour whiplash certification course taken through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. This is an advanced course of the study, diagnosis and clinical management of whiplash related injuries. Dr. Manley has also recently completed his Federal DOT Medical Examiner Certificate.

Dr. Manley is married to his wife Joan who is an elementary teacher in the South Sioux City school system. They have three children, Jessica, Sean and Scotty.

Dr. Obbink is a native of Sioux City, graduating from East High School in 1998. He later enrolled at Morningside College in Sioux City where he received his bachelor of science degree. Dr. Obbink was very active in sports as well at Morningside College, where he was a member of the Mustang baseball team. Dr. Obbink graduated with honors from Morningside College in 2002.

Dr. Obbink then went on to attend Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. Dr. Obbink graduated summa cum laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City in 2005.

Dr. Obbink will be providing family chiropractic care, rehabilitation, acupuncture and treatment of sports related injuries along with auricular stapling for weight loss and smoking cessation.

Dr. Obbink is married to Jill, who is currently working at the Department of Human Services for the State of Iowa. They are raising three daughters, Austin, Cameron, and Jaylee. Dr. Obbink is an active member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society and Northwest Iowa Chiropracitc District. Dr. Obbink's interests include golf, softball, fishing, and running.

Dr. Miller graduated from Muscatine High School in 2011 as valedictorian in his hometown of Muscatine, Iowa. He then attended Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois with a focus in Biology before transferring to the University of Iowa in 2012. Dr. Miller graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in health and human physiology.

He then attended chiropractic school at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa starting in 2015 and graduated in October 2018. The curriculum at Palmer consisted of a wide variety of science courses, including anatomy, physiology, chemistry, pathology, and nutrition. Palmer’s program also provided an assortment of courses that taught students chiropractic adjusting techniques to safely and effectively correct misaligments in the spine and extremity joints. Dr. Miller has passed Parts I, II, III, IV and physiotherapy National Board examinations and is certified with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dr. Miller is a licensed chiropractor in the state of Iowa and is an employed chiropractor at Manley & Obbink Chiropractic and Acupuncture in Sioux City, Iowa.

Dr. Miller is in the process of receiving the Federal DOT Medical Examiner Certificate to become certified to perform physical examinations for commercial truck drivers. He also plans on becoming certified in Active Release Technique (ART) and Acupuncture in the near future.

Dr. Miller is married to his wife, Mallory, who is a registered dental hygeintist at Sunnybrook Dental in Sioux City. Dr. Miller enjoys coaching group fitness classes at Top Tier Fit in Sioux City, as well as playing his favorite sports of basketball and baseball. Dr. Miller is excited to serve and provide care for the people of Sioux City and the greater Siouxland area!
